Pre-Contract Manager

Zenco Technical are currently recruiting for a Pre-contract Manager to join our client’s Process & Water team, working on projects in Ireland and the UK. Our Clients offer a range of services including design, DMA, installation, construction and commissioning. The successful candidate will be based in Galway and will report to the Commercial and Marketing Director.

Key Responsibilities:

• Estimating & bid process for all tenders
• Managing and supporting the teams
• Working closely with the commercial team, designers, planners and site teams
• Subcontract management
• Attending regular meetings with the client and reporting on design and project completion timelines
• Effective monthly reporting
• Taking responsibility for the programs

Key Requirements:

• HNC/HND/BSc in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering or equivalent
• A background of estimating/bid management/MEICA design as well as working on clean or wastewater projects.
• A background of delivering projects to budget and program
• Proficient in Microsoft Project
• Water experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Organised and structured in your approach
• IT literate
