Office Manager – Construction (Clare)

Job Overview

Zenco Technical are currently seeking an experienced Office Manager to join a M & E Contractor based in Co. Clare. Ideally applicants would have a knowledge around the construction industry and be self-motivated as well as having the ability to work as part of a small team. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary and be a valued member of a company working in the across the Commercial, Data Centre and Pharmaceutical sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Point of contact duties – answer phone, general enquiries etc
  • General office day to day administration
  • Maintenance of in house computer systems
  • Document control, order processing and administration
  • Filing of reports, orders and memos
  • Coordination of meetings,assisting with meeting minutes and reports
  • Ensure documentation is maintained to a high standard and is up to date for auditing purposes
  • Ensure all health and safety reports are maintained and updated regularly
  • Assisting visitors when on the premises
  • Updating website with details on completed and ongoing projects
  • All other general ad-hoc duties associated with office management in the construction industry

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an Administrator is essential
  • Must have to ability to work in a busy office and prioritize work while under pressure
  • Knowledge around the construction industry is beneficial
  • Excellent level of attention to detail and organisation
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Knowledge around CRM systems
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills a necessity
