Zenco Technical is currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join a market-leading Irish Fabrication company with projects based in Limerick. Our client are specialists in sheet metal fabrication with projects across various sectors. The successful candidate will work across a number of high profile projects and will receive an excellent remuneration package as well as the opportunity to upskill and progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Working within a small team and reporting directly to the Commercial Director.
- Managing and forecasting the cash flow of the project.
- Ensure compliance with Contract schedule and provide reports to management and construction team.
- Management of Subcontractors
- Cost monitoring and reporting while attending all monthly cost reporting meetings
- Preparation of budgets.
- Submission of applications for payment.
- Submission of supporting documentation
- Preparation of final accounts
Key Requirements
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or relevant area
- 3 + years experience as a QS
- A proven track record in customer relationship development.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with colleagues at all levels
- Ability to work independently & in a team
- Full driving licence essential
- Proficient IT Skills essential
