Overview
Zenco Technical is currently seeking an M&E BIM Engineer to join an Engineering Contractor in the West of Ireland. Our client is interested in an M&E BIM Engineer to work across Pharma / Commercial role in the Galway area. The successful candidate will join a very well established team as well as developing a clear path for career progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate the design of both mechanical and electrical services
- Responsible for leading junior members of the team
- Preparation of manufacturing and construction drawings
- Working and coordinating with 3rd party vendors
- Receipt and management of all project drawings
- Liaise on the development of the department’s systems and procedures
- Ensure that individual and team targets are achieved to the highest standards
Key Requirements
- Third level degree in a related discipline
- 5+ years of demonstrated proficiency in BIM software is essential for this position
- Ideally, candidates would also have Pharma experience
- Experience with Revit MEP/AutoCAD/Autodesk based products
- Experience with 3DS Max, Pro Engineer, Solidworks is beneficial
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong commercial acumen
- Strong team player with the ability to interact with colleagues at all levels
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines
